Malimono, Surigao del Norte — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malimono has officially partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for the development and hosting of the municipality’s official website, marking a significant step toward digital transformation and improved public service delivery.

Through the leadership and initiative of Municipal Mayor Arnel S. Amalla, this collaboration aims to enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in providing information and services to the public. The website, which will soon be accessible at www.malimono.gov.ph, will serve as a digital platform where citizens can easily access government updates, announcements, and essential public documents.

Under the DICT’s Government Web Hosting Service (GWHS) and Government DNS Hosting Service (GovDNS), the LGU Malimono’s official website will adhere to national web standards for security, reliability, and user-friendliness. The partnership also includes support for the municipality’s gov.ph domain, ensuring authenticity and trustworthiness of its online presence.

Once launched, malimono.gov.ph will serve as a comprehensive portal for residents, investors, and visitors; showcasing not only government information but also the town’s programs, culture, and local attractions.
