Malimono LGU Advances Digital Governance Through eLGU Training

The Department of Information and Communications Technology Caraga and Department of the Interior and Local Government Caraga successfully conducted the Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System Admin Training and System Setup at the Local Government Unit of Malimono last May 4-7, 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen the municipality’s digital governance initiatives through the implementation and enhancement of the eLGU System, which is designed to improve the delivery of public services, streamline government transactions, and promote efficient local governance.

During the training, designated LGU personnel were oriented on the administration, operation, and management of the eLGU platform. The technical team also facilitated the system setup to ensure the readiness of the municipality for the digitalization of frontline government services.

Mayor Arnel S. Amalla expressed his support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of embracing digital transformation in providing faster, more accessible, and more transparent services to the people of Malimono.

The collaboration between DICT Caraga, DILG Caraga, and LGU-Malimono highlights the continuing commitment of the government in advancing digital innovation and empowering local government units through technology-driven solutions.
