On July 24, 2026. The Municipality of Malimono proudly marks another significant milestone with the successful turnover of the Malimono Public Transport Terminal, a testament to the Local Government’s unwavering commitment to improving public service and fostering sustainable local development.

The turnover ceremony was honored by the presence of the Provincial Governor of Surigao del Norte, Hon. Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, Vice Governor Hon. Geed Gokiangkee, distinguished Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, barangay officials, department and office heads, and other valued stakeholders whose support and partnership made this milestone possible.

This landmark project, with a total investment of ₱10,000,000.00, was generously funded by the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte through the visionary leadership and unwavering support of Governor Hon. Robert Lyndon S. Barbers. The realization of this public transport terminal reflects the Provincial Government’s continuing commitment to strengthening local infrastructure, improving the delivery of essential public services, and promoting inclusive economic growth among the municipalities of the province.
